Eh.. to each their own. Fast car sure.. but I do get sick of seeing almost every one of them being blue w/ gold rims... that **** just doesn't look good to me. Glad you like it tho.. hopefully the ranger goes to a good home.

But yeah they are quick little cars with good aftermarket and not crazy costly to build.

If I was going to build a ricer I'd probably go Civic or Cobalt SS Turbo.

I love them haha, but definantly change the wheels. I think the gold blue combo looks good but everyone has it. Alot of people put bright colored rims on them but im partial to all black.

Itd look amazing with a 2 inch drop, i love my buddies wrx with it. But he puts it back to stock for the PA winters.

Id be super jealous if it was alpine white though haha

 

I hope you don't trade/sell your truck. Afterall it is a toy and toys dont get used all the time. Not to mention the all the money you have in it you wont get back. But it all depends on what you want to do. If you trade for a WRX try not to get one that has a ton of mods done. Because you could very well end up spending more time working on it rather than driving it. My buddy had a 06 sti, with a honest 400hp on a mustang dyno. Rebuild 8.5 to 1 motor, ported head, cobb (I believe thats the company) everything, big ol' turbo. He ended up trading it in on a trail blazer SS. Said he got tired of working on it and not being able to drive it. He is still paying off the credit card bills on that car and its been gone over 2 years now lol. I tell him how dumb he was for that. Good luck man, in all seriousness its a tough decision.

I just drove to the grocery store (2.5 miles away) and no joke saw two blue WRX's with gold rims. lol

 

Ive done the buy stock and mod it thing and its normally more expensive to start from scratch then buy built and finish it. Whats the difference in buying stock and dumping 10k into the engine or buying built and dumping $2k in finishing things. Or better yet dumping 0 in it because it works. Worse case scenario it blows up and you have to rebuild it anyways.

I see he didn't do the extra clear coat to the front and its chipping. But thats a known issue.

I love it, and will trade him my jeep even up lol

 

Throw some widened steelies on it, leave them grey coloured.
I also vote for a similar paint scheme to the truck it replaced.

you guys may hate me but I did just trade for something. I now own a MINT 73 Nova 350 SS.. yes I know hate me its chevy. but it came with lots of extras, its a true SS and its worth way more than my truck. so i'll prolly rock it for a bit and finish up some gofast parts and make it my own look and sell it and move on to another truck deal or car or both. or a house heh. so this will be my new love for a bit. motor has headers, mild cam, highrise intake, 700 series 4bc, 3speed ratchet shift, 3.73 posi rear with 2ft hookup bars. also comes with drag/street cam and full msd ignition to put on. the interior has a full restore too from carpet to headliner seats etc.

i'll have pics etc up in the next day or so.

yep stack of papers, and the dude gets awesome deals on parts for the Nova. And he works at the ranger plant here and said to call him for any parts I need for the f250 cause he can get them with his ford discount for cheap. He also asked if I would be interested in doing some tube work for him on the truck cause he has some plans for the front bumper etc. I was Pffft yeah, so i'll still have contact with her lol.

Not a huge fan of the color or the wheels, but i can change that. wheels for sure right away, paint is too nice right now to just change it right away so I'll rock it like this for a while.

 

Id rock it how it is! I love Novas. So if you want I can take it off your hands!
