True, but I would rather pretend that the viqueens are not associated with MN. Also, its kindof funny over here, as soon as you mention you are from Minnesota, the response is always "The vikings suck", even if the conversation has nothing to do with football.

Look at Detroit. **** the bed a few seasons ago with the "other perfect" season. Now they are planing a parade route.

I thought about it and I have 10k in savings. I could buy it but I'd have to live where I am now for another 2 years. You know where I stand but I respect your actions. What has kayla said?

She would hate to see it go, as its been apart of our relationship from the first day we met haha. But she understands the situation and why I could get rid of it.

I feel your pain. I drive mine about the same amount, doesnt really seem like its worth keeping. Though I have not spent a dime on mine in the last 2-3 months, it is stored inside. So the situation is a little different but if i got say 10k or a little more that would be a nice for say a house etc.

Sucky part is winter is upon us and Im sure nether one of us want the salt to touch the trucks.

I think you need to make the decision, personally I would keep it because it would take way more to rebuild something else. You truck can be used as a somewhat crawler too. Just run it as a trail rig, trail rigs dont need to be much of anything. They can be beaters or anything better.

^^^^

thats what i was thinking zack why couldnt you run at a trail rig? it would have one nice ride.

also why do you have to store it for the winter. why cant you winterize it and cover it out side. i know several people that do that. they buy en expensive car cover that wont scratch the paint then they buy a heavy tarp and cover it to keep the winter off of it.

I know your in deep in the truck already but what about selling the DBR and doing an SAS? That would solve your crawler needs and if you do it sort of like beards you can jump it too. lol

Buy one of those tarp garages that can be taken down. There is a guy I know who has one set up and is anchored to the vehicle so it won't blow away.

pretty much, I want a new medium to work with. I'm kinda bored.

And morris I have one of those temp garages right now. it works, I'm so much worried about storing for winter as the fact i dont/cant drive it in winter cause of salt etc. i dont even want to trailer it up north to blast on the frozen lakes cause all the salty road spray will just start eatn it up

hey now! I used to keep it in there. My dad just doesnt have enough jobs going on so there is a bunch of tools etc in there. But it needs a reorganizing bad.

idk.. I kinda want to keep it and try to make it trail ready. I could make sliders and take the front and rear fenders off and rock it like that so I dont break any glass. would need a front locker too. It really just depends on what this local guy offers when he gets back to me. if he says something kinda nice like 12-14 I might just go for it. but if its like 9-10 I dont think I could do it. and the suby and 1500 would be nice to drive for a while and I could sell that eventually as well and make some money. its hard stuff to think about... maybe I shouldnt have even thought about it lol

This is why I'm keeping the superlift on and getting sliders, I want a vehicle that does everything, I had similar thoughts to you, went and test drove a few vehicles and when I looked back at my truck in the parking lot I felt sick about leaving it there. If I were to win millions tomorow my first thought would be triple bypass shocks for my ranger

well I thought about keeping it again, but I just feel like making another build up of a different vehicle. The other local guy said he was just going to finish the project he had so he dropped out. sounds like I'm going to go with the subie and 1.5k. I'll rock that to and from work all winter and then in the spring I'm going to look for another project rig and decide if i'm going to sell the car for money and then use that to build up that.

it may be stupid but I just feel like moving on to a new love heh, something I want to go out and work on and make badass.

Andy, if you need a place to keep it. I own a house in Bethel MN on a couple acres with a cement slab in the back yard. It gets plowed all winter so you could access it all the time and I have good neighbors and tenants that can keep an eye on it for you. Just thought I'd offer it. My parents keep their RV there in the winter so I keep the back driveway plowed all winter (the neighbor does it for me) If you haven't made up your mind yet. I'd throw that out as an option
