mice

Hello, I have a 2000 extended cab and my problem is mice running thru it. I've looked and cant find where they are coming in at. I own two other rangers and a sportrac and they are fine, But this one is like a super highway and i'm about ready to burn it, any ideas at all. I've looked at cabs in junkyards and don't really see anything and no holes in the firewall that i can find, thanks

Engine off, key on
windows closed
Climate control on "panel" and fan on HIGH
Fan sucks in air from under the cowl(outside air), so fan on high pressurizes the cab, some what, lol

Use smoke stick or ?? to see if you can find air flow exiting the cab, in engine bay or around doors or under cab or ??

There are rodent repellents like fresh cab, they just make the smell of an area unappealing to rodents so they go elsewhere
I don't recommend poisons since the smell of dead rodents, you can't find, gets pretty bad, lol

Thanks Ron, I will try to find some type of smoke stick. I have even cleaned out nests in the fan and ac area. I've never heard of fresh cab but I'll look online and order a large economy size.

Fresh cab was first made for semi-truck cabs and heavy equipment cabs, the latter can really get rodent infestation because they can sit for long periods between uses

Never used it myself but a friend did for his farm equipment and said it seemed to work
