Mistery Bracket

My truck came with this useless bracket that just sits there taking up real state.
I'd like to remove it to clean up the engine bay some. My question to you guys is.. Do I need to get new bolts or maybe spacers to make up for the difference in space without the bracket?

If someone has done this, could you please post the bolt size I'd need to buy.
Thanks
