What kind of antenna?

What kind of antenna? UPDATE with Make and Model of Radio
Ok guys, my dad is a veterinarian and he has some sort of radio in his truck, that looks like a cb but is not quite that. I believe it is VHF or something to that extent, and it can connect to his vet clinic phone via a phone patch? He does not have to have a special license to operate it. Does anyone know what this would be? Anways, he used to drive my truck so I have one of these radios, but no antenna. I was wondering if someone could point me in the direction of a 3-4 ft black antenna for it. The radio is a midland, but the piece that you talk into has phone numbers on it to connect to the phone. Sorry I don't know any more than this, but if you have questions I'll do my best. My dad doesn't really know a whole lot more than me as far as the technical side of it, or what kind of antenna to use. The local shop in town closed down, so he has to send it directly into the company for service, but I would rather not call them if I don't have to. Thanks

The radio is a Midland Model # 70-13368 It has what is called a phone patch and the mic is a CES brand 600L Model. Hopefully someone will at least be able to tell me the frequency of the radio or something that might help in my persuit of an antenna. I'm looking for something in black fiberglass, such as a Firestik if I could find it. Thanks
