Moving...
Moving out to California. Around riverside to be exact. Going to attend the Fab School. Anyone live in this area? I won't be bringing the truck with me, only the motorcycle. I'll be moving sometime december or in january. In may my whole front suspension and the steering will be removed from the truck and sold. The money will help pay for school and a set of 2 steering rockwells and hopefully some of the components to rebuild them.
I have decided on either A) fuel injected 460 or B) keeping the 3.0 to see how long it will last. I am in the process of building 3 rigs right now, and will be bending up an exo cage soon and bobbing the frame behind the axle. The front will also eventually be tube (to fit the 460 is I choose to run it).
When I get back from california (or wherever I go from there) I will work torward starting my own off-road/suspension fabrication business. I am taking in work now on the side of my regular full-time job. Couple of axle swaps, re-builds, re-gearing etc.
I also plan to research and possibly develop a solid-axle swap kit for 98+ 4wd rangers. It's a long shot from now (about 2 years) but I think it's highly possible.
If anyone is good at making web-pages and wants to help me make one, shoot me a pm. I don't have alot of dough to throw around but i'll return the favor one way or another.
I might not be on here for a while with these current builds, me moving, i'll be working full time out there and going to school full time so only time will tell.
Thanks for reading.
