besides needing a giant lift your stock axles wont last long with those bag *** tires on them, thats even if that 2.9 can even turn them with stock gearing.

Its not going anywhere with stock axles. Gearing is against you and stock axles are only good for 33-35s max. Thats assuming you have a d35 and a 8.8

Your in way over your head on this, It's way to much work to put 44's on a ranger, the 2.9 won't turn them and even if your tried you can say bye bye to your drivetrain, stick with 35's unless you plan on making it a project truck

agreed, it's a more than outrageous idea. Not being an ***, but I don't see it happening.

its not impossible for a 2.9 to turn 44's but the gearing that would be required to do it somewhat effectively wouldnt fit in the stock axles.

Yea, maybe with a set of 6.14 gears......but it's impossible without changing axles and a **** ton of modding to the drivetrain.

Even with 6.14's it still wouldn't work, just stop. My point is it's not possible on his stock 2.9.

here at the local mud bog there's a 4cyl samuri with like 44's maybe bigger and that thing is just funny to watch.the tires dosent even turn fast enough to clean them off,i would say go with 35's or mod the hell out your ranger before you put 44's on it
