I recently got into an accident with my mustang and it is in the middle of being repainted, right now the body shop has the front bumper painted green but they haven't painted the molding stripe on it yet because i have not decided on which shade of black i should paint it alone with the rest of my molding. Im asking here because i dont get very many responses on the mustang sites and i know you guys will help me. Im stuck between painting it semi gloss or gloss paint or maybe even matte, what do you guys think would look best?

Ive thought about painting it the body color but everybody does that, and im eventually going to get some black with a polished lip 17 or 18s, so i think it might match better black, what do you think?

Nice stang. I have had four of them (91LXcoupe, 87LXhatch, 91LXvert and a 95GT) so they are close to my heart. I would of done them body color like the 92-93's but if you are set on black i would go semi gloss black.

 

Body color. Your rims will look good even if there is no black on the body.
