My free welder...score!!!

Some of you know I am the head of maintenance at a Holiday Inn. Anyway we are the type of hotel that most our customers are either corporate or construction type guests. Currently we have a large group of contrators staying with us. They have been working on there truck some in the parking lot including some welding. When my helper was taking out the trash today he found this welder in the dumpster they had pitched. He asked me if I wanted it so I said hell ya! Anyway I brought it home and pulled the tip, cut of the bad end of the wire and welded a bead with it. Although they didn't include the regulator it still has the tubing for gas and the did include a helmet in the dumpster for me...Cool huh!

Yeah I used to weld quite bit with a stick welder so its not new to me but that was a long time ago. I just have to get the hang of the wire feed.
