My Last Future Ranger Thread - Is This The One?

If this Ranger doesn't check out to be ok, then I will just keep the Prelude until the end of the year. I know it's not a FX4 Level II, but, my reasoning is I want something similar to what I had. The only thing I wish I would have gotten then is an automatic transmission, power windows, locks, mirrors, sliding back glass, 4 door, skid plates and a LS rear. This one has all of that with the exception of me not knowing if it has skid plates or a LS rear. I will find out tomorrow when I go look at it. It is super clean, and since it is at a Honda dealer, I will get top dollar for my trade. Anyways, what do you think? You know it won't stay like this long : )

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this truck is a XLT 4x4, not the XLT 4x4 Value Package? I thought the only 4x4 truck that didn't have flares was the XLT 4x4 Value Package? Also, is it possible that this truck has a 4.10 LS and skid plates? I assume skid plates and the LS 4.10's were an option to the XLT 4x4's?

My old one was, it had manual windows, manual locks, manual mirrors, 2 door super cab, no jump seats, no tint, solid back glass, manual, no skids, no ls, it had 4.10 gears, with tear drop wheels, no towing package, no tilt wheel, no cruise and it was 4x4.

The only other option I would want would be bucket seats, but thats an easy swap after you purchase it.

I really wish I could find a DSG FX4 Off Road in my area, but the only one is at CarMax and the front valence has white discoloring on it!

56,000 not bad at all. Sounds like a good buy man.. You test drive it yet? See if everything worked to your liking? And i just read your post about the valance on the other truck. Usually some dealers, if you decided to buy it would have that fixed before you bought it, if you talked to him about it. I mean im sure hed have it fixed and pay a few hundred bucks rather than lose a sale. Id see if he would fix it if you really liked the other truck. I was looking at an Edge, and the bumper had some rust. He said he would have that all fixed if i decided to get it. Which im glad i didnt.. I found something much better.

I'm going tomorrow to take a peek at it. If it doesn't have LS, I am not getting it. That is one thing I do not want to sacrifice. I do not want to be swapping in a rear.

It looks really clean and 56k is fairly low miles. Make sure it has everything you want do not settle because the dealer is giving you a "good deal" good luck though with it

I know you want something local, but check this out:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Cars-...=p4506.c0.m245

not EXACTLY what you want, but I think its a closer match than the XLT youre looking at. i think its a great deal!
