My Milage
I just wanted to share my milage with ya'll. I was pretty stoked about my highway milage! :biggthump
City 18.5+/-mpg depending on how hard I drive Highway 23.6+ I have a MAC Intake, Bama Tuner, & 22" Glasspacks. On the trail this weekend I got 4.4mpg all low speed high RPM and in 1st gear. |
nice i want 23.6 mpg
|
I think the top helped with that too so my city milage may be impoving too.

Yeah thats what I got last tank was 18.5 mainly city driving, I normally get 23/25 ish highway. Thats completely stock 3.0

Impressive mileage. I never took any long trips with my topper on. But as far as around the city, since it won't really help (much) if the aerodynamics are better because of the added weight of the topper. What the topper makes up for in aerodynamics it takes right back with its weight. So it all equals out in city driving.

a 1997 ford escort 4 door with a 4cylinder lawn mower engine. 11 gallon tank, 330 miles on a tank - so actually more than 30mpg since i prolly have a gallon in reserve.
I get my truck back on tuesday! woohoo! cant wait! got my dent and my scratch fixed, on top of the rest of the damage fixed... be like a brand new truck, i hope. |
