did you get all the rubber coating off the radio bezel? It looks like it started bubbling up

Redo it again and then spray some clear coat on it and it will look so much better.

Not to be bashing you , but you need to either paint the rest black , or get rid of it , the blue and greay do not mesh good at all , or maybee if you painted more . And this is coming from someone who has painted every interior panel in his truck so I know how hard it is .

Sorry but that looks awful. Plus the blue doesn't flow with the truck at all. Buy some replacement interior parts and this time leave them alone.

I tried to paint one I bought off ebay, ****ed it up bad, broke the clips that held on the a/c vents, broke the cig lighter, kept finding little imperfections, threw it away..

bought this:

My friend is a painter at a collision center and he painted my radio bezel for me. The paint turned out great and its not too flashy. Its sort of a gunmetal color but I wish I never did it. I think it looked better in stock form, guess I'm just not a fan of painted interior parts.

It doesn't look that bad to me. I wouldn't do it to my Ranger but it's not as chitty as some of these guys are making it sound or at least to me. But my Ranger is red so what do I know?

I'm not a big fan of spray painting plastic. It never sticks, and the blue is way to flashy for the gray interior. Just my $.02

done right it works just fine, but thats only done by taking lots of time and making sure its done right.. this is just a simple spray and go by the looks of it.. I personally wouldnt touch anything unless I had a backup, even as good as I can be with painting.. doing plastics is a tough one, and prepping is 3/4ths of the battle.

Deffinatley needs some major work. At the LEAST resand, hit the parts with paint prep, then mayb some adhesion promoter, then slowly add your mist coats and work up to your wet coats to get a good even color. Then long as there are no or VERY minimal imperfections, hit it with a few coats of clear. But i too would change the grey too...just my opinions though

Sorry man, but the blue just does not look good in there. Also, there were way too many imperfections before you started painting, which are extrememly visable with the blue paint. I would seriously think about taking that all out and painting it back to black.
