I was looking at a set of Explorer Sport Seats in the JY the other day, I think they had some sort of power but not sure, these have a low back and looked good and were comfortable.
Not sure if they are a bolt in but I can’t believe they would be too far off.
A lot of Center Consoles but nothing complete but there is plenty of stuff out there just decide what you want a head of time if you can.

Nice idea though.

I had an 88 STX, 5-sp, came with bucket but no console.

Installed a 5.0L out of a ’93 Stang with auto, worked really well and wasn’t a major pain to install.

Funny thing is that I found the 5.0L got better milage than the 2.9L, go figure.

Good luck on the project.

IMHO there is no way a 2.9L get it either.
The 5.0L can get you 20 if your lucky.

If your going to bag it to an inch from the ground just do that last inch so you can drag it. Throwing sparks is about the best feeling in the world!

yeah i have a long ways to go, the hardest part for most people is actually the easiest for me, im gonna do all the bodywork and paint myself, and i used to work at a shop that specializes in airbag installation, i didn't get to do any of the fab work but i know they'll hook me up

the hardest part will be getting replacement parts for it, and cleaning up the interior

why not just swap out the whole interior with a newer truck. lots of people do this. if done right, it can look very good.

dash, seats and console out of a wrecked 2000+ model.

take it all from a donor. wiring, seats, dash, door panels would have to beblended into the newer dash. the only thing that would be old would be the body, door panels and carpet.

lots of work but would totally be worth it.

yeah that's what i want to do, but I wanted to add a tach, and I wasn't sure if it was as easy as plugging the wires into the new cluster, like if the info that the guages are telling me is right or wrong because of the new setup, or if it will have to be calibrated, and the door panels are in really good shape, i'll ask if they're new or if they came with the truck

after researching bagged rangers i found out its pretty hard with these frame rails, so i talked to a friend i used to work for and he said i need to get replacement i-beams, im gonna go through djm then have my friend bag it, i gotta save up for a few months

and i'm still trying to get it smogged, im going to a junkyard tomarrow and getting a header heat shield off a bii, i went the other day and i didnt have the right tools, so im going tomarrow better prepared, a week of frustration trying to get it smogged, after it passes im just gonna rip it all out and put the K&N back on, I hate california

^^LOL

May auto teacher took his old VW bug to get it DEQ'd, but his custom built engine wouldnt pass, so he went back home, dropped his stock engine in, and took it back the same day.

"were't you here earlier and didnt pass?"

---- "yeah, try it now, I made a couple changes."

"You're just gunna go back home and swap engines again..."

---- "so? it'll pass DEQ!"
