I dont know what cheap is to you but a motor swap is normally is pretty expensive.



You say you were at the dunes so I'm guessing that water is salt water? If so you better rip out ALL the interior and wash out it real good along with the rest of the truck. May want to get they water out of the axles,trans,tansfercase and motor asap also.

ok will do,,,, and edgeman4.0 no you cant have it lol,, today we got it runnin and drove it like 20ft and it ran perfect so now we're just gonna finish changin fluids and be done

 

Damn man that sucks, that was some deep water for your truck, lol. Oh well **** happens. Hope you can get it fixed man, water came out before the oil? lol... not good. Yeah just drain all your fluids, take out your air filter etc etc. maybe possible change your diff fluid?

change all your oils, the water pressure doesnt seem like enough, but that water will get into your axles and stuff

 

we changed all the fluids and ran atf through the motor and it runs and drives just as good as it did before the only thing different is the air bag light stays on other than that its just the same as it was before
