My ranger has less than 2 months

before its getting traded in...

My rents wanna get rid of it and i have no say in this since they pay for it...

Ill most likely be getting my dads 06 Scion XB which has like 15k on it and has 100k warranty.

With gas being as high as it is i guess im not complaining but i will miss my truck if they do follow through with this

the Chevy HHR is a better option than the Scion. more pickup and more space with 25city and 30hwy to boot. i know i been keepin a close eye on my neighbors car...2007's come with 100k/5yr warranty and certified 06's do as well.

i wanted a scion, but my cousin Ben who was an engineer at GM for 6 years and 2 for Toyota now has more confidence in GM's eco tec engine and drivetrain.

BTW he is Quality Control supervisor at the San Antonio plant and he dislikes toyota's latest craftsmanship with a passion.

let me know i can get some good GM pricing

Don't let gas prices control your life! I'm putting a 302 in my Ranger...do you think I'm expecting good gas mileage?

and in petes defense he has done a complete tune-up from what i have seen on here and its still chitty. my main thing is that if you get a free truck, what difference does it make if you get 10MPG or 25MPG. thats why you are able to graduate with a BA on time because you dont have any bills

i cant afford my truck anymore i drive way tooo much and everywhere to have a pick up. The scion will cost me like 25 bucks to fill up and last me a lil longer than the ranger which costs me 45-55 to fill up and lasts me 250 miles on a tank.

I told my parents the only way ill let them get rid of my truck is they have to get an SUV cuz i need something to pull my jet skis with and my boat when i buy it this summer

I would do it. Cant complain about it if it's free. Hell right now i would drive a car instead of this fuel hog truck i drive now. And wtf is up with gas prices. Friggin $2.97 a gallon up here and is expected to hit $4-$5 by summer!!!!! I hope those rich bastards in the oil business get socked with all the taxes for this crap.
