My truck is making the most annoying sound *vid inside*

Happens when the suspension compresses and de-compresses. I can replicate the sound by pushing down on the bumper and making the suspension make the sound.

It's somewhere in the front, but even with having someone else do it while i lay under the truck, I can't pinpoint it. It drives me nuts though.

Get you a mechanics stethoscope and someone to push up and down on the bumper and check all bushings and ball joints and tie rods. But I'm certain it's ball joints

if it is not the lower ball joints, then it is an inner tie rod end. you can put a pry bar on each tie rod end while bouncing the suspension to see if it changes...i still think it is a lower balljoint. are they greaseable?

I'm with Justin. Sounds like a ball joint. does it make any more noises while turned and being bounced?

I am with everyone else on this sounds like the lower ball joint. If they are greasable then grease them. Even if they were replaced recently they could be faulty. Check for play in them and or just replace.

LCA bushings. They be dry. My friend's '98 did it and he kept spraying some silica spray or something on it 'cause he was too lazy to actually fix it right. lol.

^^see I was thinking that too, but not sure. I really don't want to take all that apart though lol.

So I don't have a grease gun, and my buddy that I was going to borrow it from, well he's a tool, so not even gonna bother. Can I rent one from vatozone or something? Really don't want to buy one if I don't have to. I'll be trading this thing in in a few months probably. So I just want it to shut the hell up till I get rid of it lol
