Just respond for the region if you are FROM the region, please, to cut down on misinformation.

Around here, everyone calls soft drinks "Coke", whether they are in fact a coke or not.

I don't know if ya'll say "Iced Tea", but I always call it Sweet Tea; ice is implied.

If I am traveling a relatively short distance and someone asks where I'm going, I'll generally tell them I'm "going down the road a piece" or "near abouts here", or something like that.

In texas, it's a Coke. You drink Dr. Pepper, or Mt. Dew, it's still called a Coke.

Ya'll, reckon, yonder, Come On, That dog won't/will hunt, yeller. heard all throughout rural texas and oklahoma.

"Ice Tea" and Sweet Tea are not always one and the same.

in pa... im from eastern pa, philly basically... we call it soda... unless your being more specific and say which kind of soda you are talking about... coke, pepsi, dr pepper, mt dew.. whatever.. western pa i often hear it referred to as pop.

and not too sure about "malt" either.. they're known around here as milk shakes.. be more specific as to where you're talkin about. is that new england maybe?? they're north.. but thought they were called milk shakes there as well..

as for anythin else slang.. i dunno.. its hard to think of anyhting right now..
