Need help to confirm IAC part # for my Ranger

I have a 2003 Edge Ext. cab 4 door 3.0 V6 gas, and Im looking to replace the IAC valve and the part number I came up after researching online was the Motorcraft CX1946 but i when i tried to order it from amazon it says this part is not compatible with the year and trim of my truck however on ebay it says it does fit so now I am a bit confused. I went ahead and compared the valve i currently have and it looks more like the Motorcraft CX1837 and i think its very strange that when i looked up some engine pictures of the same Ranger model on google, they ALL have a IAC valve that looks more like the CX1837 but according to Amazon not even this par number fits my truck. I am attaching a picture of the valve that is currently in my truck. Please help. Thank you.

I just bought an IAC for my 2006 3.0 from Amazon, they also told me it wouldn't fit. Put your vin# in at fordparts.com search IAC and see what you get. I got this hit for an 2003 3.0

Did you ever try this part? The one in my 06 3.0 looks exactly like this, I bought one that looked like yours originally, with the plastic part facing sideways rather than straight ahead, and the cable wouldn't even reach that side. This part is currently like 100 bucks but I really need one, I just don't want to spend that much if it wont work. Thanks!

Damn I guess they stopped supporting that truck. I just put in my vin and can't get a single part hit for my 03 Ranger. OPs IAC valve looks exactly like mine though, wonder if I should just risk it.
