Need help driveshaft bolts!

Hey guys I am swapping my rear axle and I got one bolt off. The other 3 the socket keeps slipping. I am using a 12mm on a 12 point socket and it keeps slipping. I am using an impact gun and am scared I am going to strip it.
What else can I do to get them off??
Edit the socket it a 1/2 which I assume is the same.

Have you tried adding some heat?

Head over to Canadian Tire and grab one of these: Mastercraft Maximum Impact Bolt Remover Set, 13-pc | Canadian Tire

They've saved me many times!

I'll try adding heat. It freaks my out with how near it is to the gas tank. How long you would you say I should keep the heat on for.
Damn Canadian tire is closed.

Got them off.
A 1/2 inch won't cut it. I used a 12mm wrench and put it in the lever for my jack and used it like a breaker bar.
Now just the hassle of getting the rear struts/shocks off. And figuring out how to disconnect all the Damn break lines and such.

1/2" is closest to 13mm.

Wow damn yeah. I'm a little late here but you must use the 12pt 12mm (3/8 or 1/2 drive doesn't matter) to get those stubborn bolts off.

1/2 inch socket is near identical to 12mm. Too big.
