I would say 17 myself, but I know there aren't really allot of tire options, so I really think 18 would be the best....

If having the option of the MTR is that important to you, then get a 17 with the MTR on it...

Well I know how much you like those tires, if you think you might want them again (even if not right away) You should go 17 then, ya know? :)

yeah the tires I want to get next are only $1 difference from 17s to 18s. They are the same size.

but the difference in a 17 to 18 wheel change is around 70 for each wheel.

Looking nice, I like it allot! I thought that you weren't gona go any wider on tires because of issues in the snow? In any event I think that will look sweet on your truck...

i have upwards of 1000 to spend on the D44 before it can go under the truck.

D44 needs...

narrowed 2.5 inches
Ball Joints
Bearings
seals
4.56s or 4.88s need 4.88s but we will see. (if 4.88s in the front then i need those in the rear too)
TJ bracket kit.
new lockouts
New Ujoints
brakes
calipers
brake lines
lunch box locker

then I need wheel adapters for the rear to 5 on 5.5

then I can order the wheels and I will probably order 2 tires at a time. since they are around 350 each.

ah i dont really think they will be that much wider. since the wheels are an inch narrower the tire will look a bit different.

also the wheel will nto stick out as far as they do now since the backspacing is 4.5

I love your decision!!!

Those grapplers HUMMMMMM. And they get decent milage. If my truck ever undergoes operation (sfa) I will be on 18's and 40" mud grapplers. I'd get the helo maxxx 6 in black/chrome.

Well I definitely say go with 18's. I had no problem finding tires for 18 inch wheels even though I didn't do the offroad thing obviously. And may I suggest http://www.ec-securehost.com/OnlineT...untrry_MT.html . Even if you don't like that tire, the website was the cheapest I found tires for my truck even after shipping.
