1986 Ranger, driver's side window. The plastic piece at the bottom, where the regulator pushes up on, is broken. Need to find one somewhere.

1986 Ranger with 2.9 V-6, manual trans.


Fusible link going to a relay near the computer has burnt up. A yellow wire The fusible link) goes to the relay. A yellow wire goes in and out, along with a red wire, and what looks like a yellow wire with a blue tracer. THIS wire is heating up when I attempt to start the engine (which does run, but barely).


I assume there's a short somewhere causing all this, but I don't know where to look (or for what this relay is for). The Haynes manual had been of no help.


Any help would be really appreciated! I love my little truck.
