i am interested in putting this muffler on my truck. its stamped flowmaster, i think it is a 40 series. the problem is that it is stamped 1 in and 2 out. i need a 2 in and 1 out. what would happen if i run this muffler in reverse?

thanks,

Lee

Why do you need a 2 in? I'm pretty sure its only designed to be ran one way. I did some quick googling and someone called a Flowmaster tech and he said it could cause back pressure issues and overheating.

Yeah slowmasters have the baffles in them that are like this < and pointed into the exhaust so if you run one backwards you're gonna have problems lol
