So I come out of the store the yesterday, and start walking to my truck which is about 50 yards away across the parking lot. As I'm getting closer, I notice there is a gang of teenage punks (for lack of a better word) hanging out by my truck. Probably about 8 of them, all standing in a circle acting like only people of that age do...lol. Walking closer, I notice that their "conversation circle" encompasses the hood of my truck. And not only that, one of there asses is leaning against my truck!!! What did I ever do to earn such disrespect!!!

I start yelling at this punk" Hey kid,..... GET YOUR *** OFF MY TRUCK..." He gets this look like a deer in the headlights, all wideyed and surprised, looks down at his feet and hops his sketchy *** over to the safety of his pals. I say "hops" because his pants were sagging down to his ankles. I stand there for a moment staring at him and his buddies, just to see if any of them are going to try to say something tough. The Kid just looks at his feet, and a cute little emo girl stands there and smiles at me. I get in and drive off, listening to BLS at max volume (kind of regretting I didn't punch him in his underaged, long-haired melon).

Now, I personally lean/sit/lay against my truck all the time, hell sometimes I use the hood as a coffee table. Regardless, the sight of that kid with his *** on my truck is getting me *****ing furious, just thinking about it, even 24 hours and one car wash later....

SO thats my story. What would ya'll have done in my place? Please feel free to share your worldly stories of conflict and Ranger disrespect...and thanks for letting me vent

 

Almost got into a brawl with a guy over him leaning on my bed.

I wasn't even a jerk about it, I told him to get off my truck, he started yelling and freaking out, then he decided he wanted to throw hands, but ym buddy kept us apart and suggested he leave before anything happened.

It took him a minute but he finally left.

This went down in teh tire kindom parking lot. He rolled up in some POS 350z that was falling apart and half the soft top was missing.

I too use mine as a work bench, cofee table, chair, whatever, but no one else, except friends may do so without me letting them know whats up.

 

My truck is a fricken magnet for people, drives me insane and then when I hear "it's a truck, there meant to get scratched" I feel like throwing fists in all directions

 

 

Haha whenever people get mad about you bitching for leaning on the truck. just look at them get real angry, start screaming UMADBRO?! and follow that with COMEATMEBRO!.

i had that happen to me at a car show, with the GN of all cars, If it was my truck, i would just yelled at the kid. But i made this punk get a rag and wipe his print off the hood of my car.

Its usually the idiots that drive a pos or don't have a vehicle that you have to watch out for. Seems like it only happens when you've just washed your truck and they want to see their fingerprints on it.

I don't really see it from strangers. Every now and then one my buddies will do it. Usually I'm ok with it unless they have a jacket and the zipper hits it. I'll say something then

Never happened to me personally, but ive seen it while at car shows with my dad. One kid was even messing around with the hood ornament on my dads 71 continental. Makes me wanna smack a bitch.

 

A pet peeve of mine (aside from someone leaning against my vehicle) is if someone tries to write something on my truck when it has dust on it. Usually they'll start writing something and then I'll yell at them to stop, and they take their hand and wipe the spot where they wrote I have stupid friends

 

Wow, I can't believe people pull that s!@# at car shows....no respect. This reminds me of this summer when I was housesitting for an older couple. First day there, I start working on my truck, and had just sanded and degreased my bed for a diy bedliner. I masked everything off perfect, with newspaper and frog tape. Was just getting ready to paint, and the neighbor decides to come over and introduce himself. Its August, and this Dude rides up on his John Deere after mowing his lawn, without a shirt. This guys like 5' 9 and easily over 200 pounds " We shake hands and he proceeds to offer me all manner of neighborly hospitality. Then as we continue to talk, He leans his fat, sweaty naked body on my bed rails. His arms and gut stick to the newspaper I have taped up. Then he moves and rips half the freaking mask job off one side of the truck. sigh

Nah, mines a fleet vehicle, as base as they get before I got my hands on it. But on account of this incident I was thinking of installing some sort of alarm I could control... and maybe a small camera that could hook up to an iphone. jk on that, not really though lol. and an electrical pulse charge as well....hmmm shoot 10,000 volts through the body panels. Maybe i could modify a bear fence hahaha

 

I caught two kids sitting on my tailgate when I was working. This was at the mall, I started and finished there with my truck. I pulled the bus up close to it and yelled "get off my truck" they looked at me and walked away. Turns out they wanted the bus I was driving. They went to get on and I told them they can wait for the next driver. I shut the door in their faces, got in my truck and left.

 

Some big *** old broad smoking a cig leaning against my Ranger at Tim Hortons one night as me and a buddy came out. I stood about 4 feet away look at her and her friend for a few seconds and they look away. I set off the panic on the truck alarm and they get a bit angry, she says 'What the hell was that for?", I say "The truck sometimes panics when it thinks it's gonna get squished" She was not laughing as hard as me and my buddy and the couple getting out of their car a few feet over.

I was down in the park this summer, sitting in my truck changing lenses and batteries on my camera, when a little rusted out **** box of a Foxbody rumbled up beside me. A little 16'ish year old blonde girl looking dumb as a fire hydrant kicked her door open into the side of my truck. As three guys in her age group climb out of this car, the one getting out of the back seat proceeds to slam the door into my truck again. I just about pop a vein at this point. I roll down my window and honk the horn and say "Please tell me that door didn't hit my truck", the fat Indian in the back said "No bro, it was ours!" . . . yeah, it made no sense to me either. So I open my door and climb out and the two that got out of the passenger side hopped back in. I walk up to the Indian and stop about 2 feet away (him about 5'7", me, while a thinner guy, 6'1"), say "That's a $20 scratch.", the little blonde must have been his GF because she opens her little purse and hands me $40 and pulls his arm to get back inside the car. I stood there with a big *** smirk on my face, lol. Finding out it just hit my door trim, only removing the dust from the trim.

Have a few others I could share, but none are as "entertaining" as these two. Thinking about it, these are the only two real incidents of someone disrespecting my truck, the rest being road rage/idiot drivers.

 

I've got a couple of idiot neighbors that insist on passing the football back and forth in front of my truck. They throw the ball right at it and if it's missed it'll bounce near my truck....I've yelled at them a few times but they don't listen, I've even threatened calling the cops....they haven't done it for a couple of weeks now, maybe they got the message.

I'm trying to keep my truck looking nice, but these jerks think that bouncing a football off my truck won't hurt it. Bulls____ !!! I don't want any football dents on my truck !!!! I might have to get out there with a baseball bat....

I've never personally seen anyone on my truck, but I know people lean on it all the time because I've found finger prints, writing in the dust, and even food or soda dripped on it. **** pisses me off to. I can't even imagine leaning or even touching someone else's car. Some people have no respect or decency.

 

I was siiting at the bank waiting for my ex to get done inside and two 16yr olds come out, a girl who got in the drivers side and a guy that slams his door into my truck. As soon as he did it i look at him, get out of my truck and tell him he just blatantly slammed his door into mine. He just said "No I didnt" and I see my ex coming out. I just decided ill do the same thing. Hop up into my truck slam the door open into their car and slam it shut. The girl gets out as my ex hops into my truck and yells at me "This isnt even my car" so i calmly tell her "Maybe the owner should let people with more respect drive their car"

Pull out, and laugh the whole way home.

i live in an apartment unfortunately and theres a lot of kids and kids like to play baseball and football in the parking lot one day i was out on my back deck smoking and saw a baseball come milimeters away from my truck one of the kids father was right there and im not usually one to say a word but i yelled "you better hope that ball doesnt hit my truck" to the dad... i looked out the window after i went in and the kids were all gone lol.. i felt like a real jerk after tho lol

 

I wouldn't have. They make ball parks for a reason. Go play there.

 

i threw a drunk dude off my truck twice at the same party. fool waked over an leaned right up against it like it was a wall, i was sittin on the tailgate with my girl adn my room mate, and leaned around the tail light and motioned for him to get off, he didnt wanna, so i walked over, and asked him. he gave me a buncha lip but got off, came back like an hour later and did the same thing. even more wasted. i was sober and ready to kick his *** for the sht spewin outta his mouth. but his friends got his drunk *** outta there and took him home. i hate people who lean on other peoples rides, no respect whatsoever.
