need new tires.

hey. im thinking about getting a new set of shoes for my truck and i'm torn about what i should buy, i was thinking either the Goodyear Silent Armor, or the Bridgestone AT Revo. im thinking eaither the 245 75 16 (stock) or maybe a 265 75 16 . anyone have other suggestions for tires i should look at?
thanks!

The silent armor and the revo are good but have you considered getting the goodyear wrangler duratrac. there a great looking tire. Thats the tires i'm gonna be getting plus there relativley low in price for what they are

Well here's a pic of them so you can see them.

I work at sears and were gonna be starting to sell them. but all the people that have them on there trucks that come in love them. they say there not real loud on the road they ride smooth, and they say they do amazingly good in the mud. but from what i kno they are a mix of a mud tire and A/T mixed...Plus its a goodyear there good tires for sure

I have a set of the silent armors, they look good and they dont make much noise but they have the same problems as any other goodyear, they are not round. The balancer I have at work measures tire road force which is really just a measurement of how round the tire is, all 4 tires are at the high end of what is considered acceptable. If I had it to do again I would go with the Revos or the Michelin LTX AT2.

I kno for sure we do sell the revo...i can find out when were gonna start selling the Duratrac for you tommorrow. And as for the revo, i didn't have them but i had the regular A/T and it did real good as well. The silent armor is pretty much just a awesome tire and it don't look real aggresive but i'm sure it could hold its own in the mud and snow.

This is what goodyears did to my truck at about 60-75% tread left...when it ripped off while I was on the highway. Its enough for me to never buy them again. At least it stayed inflated...

you can get a 245/75/16 grabber for 123 each and 265/75/16 grabbers for 138 a piece

compared to the bfgs 245 bfgs are $166 and 265 are $177

people say there the same time so why not buy the cheaper one

yeah, the grabbers copy the BGFs pretty closely.

BFGs

Grabbers

reviews on tirerack have the grabbers rated higher than the BFGs, but the BFGs have many more miles reported.
