The narrator makes it sound like a state of the art loaded truck

But it looks pretty good. Maybe I'm a little biased lol

It kooks pretty clean, and priced about right considering a dealer's got it. About a month ago I gave $6,000 for a 99 in similar condition with 133,000 mi.

carfax, if its clean, and no signs of being messed with or owned by a kid, then go for it. altho, i will say alot of people complain about the bed size of a step side. if its what your looking for however, go for it!

What should I expect from the 4.0 SOHC? Is that a good engine or a problem child that needs to be avoided?

The 01-02 4.0L SOHC's are susceptible to the timing chain tensioners breaking, it's never happened to me since I take good care of my truck

If they break it's at least a $1K repair at a shop

is there a preventable fix for the tensioner? I'm not to worried about bed size, that's what the F350 is for. But right now I'm been driving my wife's Grand Am to keep the mileage down on my 350, and I hate driving the Pontiac

I just take care of my truck and hope it doesn't happen.

Looks like it needs new tires.

You know....that truck looks super familiar. I think I see one identical to it at McDonalds by my house everyday. Some old guy drives it.

if you hear it starting to make the slightest rattle, replace it. If you ignore it thats when you're risking it.

looks nice but then it cost about12,oo new. ask if they think it has half themilage left in it? i'd try for about 5,000 myself. trucks and cars are just to expenseive these days people need to think about the miles and years on a truck and bid that way.
