Jeanne Gave Me Some New Looks On The Truck!!!!

ok guys....well my birth day is comeing up in Nov i'll be 17... and i think i'm gonna go buy me a truck or car.... I'm looking to go fast so what do u think about these..The Dodge Dakota R/T with the 5.9 or a newer Mustang i'm looking for something that will be easy to drive on the interstate beucase i plan on haveing to drive to baylor just about every day for college next year.. but eaither way i'm looking to go fast and look good and i know a camaro is the cheapest way to go fast but i don't like them so whats your im put on the to listed above?

where are you wanting to go fast at? heres some advice... save the racing for the tracks before you wind up around a tree.

no i just want to have something besides a 4 cyl lol..... hell i race a bettle bug the other day and lost i wanted to cry lol...no but i don't wanta go fast i just want something that i can work on make it go fast and make it look good like a show quality caror truck and i want it to be diffrent...but i'm leaning towards the Dakota R/T and i do plan on running what ever i get at the track.... i'm not some stupid little teenager i would like to make it to 30 lol :) no but do any of yall have any imput? about these becuase i'v only found one R/T and mustangs are all over the place

EDIT: I would also love to be able to pull up to a stop light and rack off the pipes of a V8..... :badgrin:

then defantly a camaro...... they are cheaply modded to go fast. i had a friend running 9's in his camaro....

i don't like the way they look lol....... hmmm idk i got 2 months to figure it out just thought maybe some of you guys had owned an R/T or a newer mustang....also my mom say why do i go fullsized and get it over with..and keep it threw out college..so who knows o well thanks for your help!

well i could get a rumble bee if i wanted..so thats about my price range i have alot saved and my mom and grandmother said they would help i just have to make the payments..which is not a problem

gotcha...my local firestone and meineke call my truck the Ford Rumble Bee... you could even consider a V6 Ranger...

go for it...I think most the guys agree on here that the 4.0's have quite the power. And then chip it...and you will be set.

hell yeah... stay with the ranger ive got a 4.0 7inch lift and 33s and i can still spin my tires.. but i wouldnt sugguest trying it.. got a funny noise from the rear end but anywhoo get a 4.0 chip it flow it and then go with it... yeah you know you love my rimes and blkout check out the hoda song its preety b/a. lol im just joking around..

that songs pimp lol.. i burned it to a Cd and went threw the High school parking lots the other day where all the Hondas and civi's park lol....but as soon as my mom gets here i'm going to go look at one...... do the 4.0's come with a 5 speed does anybody know?

Don't forget they don't sell your engine anymore. You have more low end torque than the new Rangers do. I turn 33"s with 4.10 gears with the OHC 4.0L and it is nothing to get excited about.

i think i'm going to wait until this summer to make my mind up...and i'm gonna try and find me a dakota R/T to test drive......and anything is more exciting than a 2.3

It could be worse, but the Ranger isn't my first choice outta the stable if going fast is on my mind.
