Picture Request?

i bought a set of IPF lights, they had h4 bulbs, great lights, would deffinetly buy them again (for the new truck) no pics though, the wiring instructions come with them and are simple to follow. They turn off with high beams, and have their own switch for on off, the highbeam is a simple wire, and you can easily remove it if you wanted them to work with the hb's

As I PMed you, I mounted mine right to the bumper...looks better to me.
As for the wiring, make sure you use a relay (basically one side of it is low power -the side with the switch in the dash- and the other side is high power - the side that runs to the lights. the relay acts as a switch if you will. Make a good ground somewhere on the body/frame close to the lights and run the + wire to the battery with an in-line fuse on the wire. depending on how many watts the lights you run are, I would recommend 12 or 14 gage wire...

I currently have mine wired into a on-off-on switch. In one position they come on with the high beams, in the other position they are always on.
Basically you tap the high beam wire near the steering column and run a jumper to one pin on the switch, then you take constant 12v and run it to the other pin on the switch.
have a wire go from the switch to the relay. Ta-da you have some sweet lights.

malydeen, are you using a 3 pole switch?
if you only have a 2 pole, what you can do is hook the lead from the hi beam wire to the signal wire on the relay, then top a 12v constant to the switch, and from the switch the the signal wire (that you just wired) on the relay, only problem with this, is that switch might activate the hibeams, if that happens, the way to correct that would be put a diode in, between the hibeam wire (where the tap is) and where your tap from the switch is, that will not allow current to go back to the hibeam wire
*edit* sorry malydeen, i didn't read your post properly, i just noticed it's on-off-on, which would be a type of 3 pole, which would work exactly like you said

looks good guys! and why don't you have pictures yourself terry! ha.
malydeen, i def like the look of 4 of them with the plastic covers on them.
What are the main brands for lites? i know hella. but i def like the KC lites, i think i could find a pair for like 160 something with all the wiring and chit included.
