We're getting a crew cab???? :D

 

It says this model won't be marketed in the U.S.

 

Hm, so north america isn't even replacing it at all? just forcing more people to buy f-150s?

 

We have the Sport Trac, which is a "crew cab ranger"

 

that hitch looks pretty wide...

 

Well it use to be, now it's an Explorer with a bed.

 

thats cos the truck is wider/longer than older rangers :P says so in the article.

 

Europe has had crew cab rangers for a while now

 

Why do they ruin stuff with the crappy looks, what a waste of money.

With the F-150 plant right there in Norfolk that would be funny as hell... Just have to drive out past tidewater area for a little while...

Haha yeah they closed that a couple years ago for cutbacks... Kinda sucks cause I was about to apply for a job there when they announced its closure so i got a job at a dodge stealership instead.

Here is what I know about Ranger's after 2011 since I did ALOT of research when I was deciding on how I wanted to deal with the whole car thing after high school.

No more Rangers for the average bear after 2011. Maybe discontinued all together or maybe fleet only.

Explorers are getting redesigned for 2012.

2010 is the last year for the Sport Trac.

F-150's are getting the Essex V6 Ecoboost for 2011. This means they will be as economic as Rangers.

So Ford is either backing out of the compact/midsize truck market and using the F-150 V6 to replace the Ranger or they are releasing a whole lot of info about their new cars and nothing about new Rangers for no apparent reason.

That is all I know and apparently I will be getting a crew cab Colorado Z71 V8 in a few years.
