4x4 issues :(

I looked at some past threads and I remember seeing one awhile back it was like a write up or something on how to fix the T-Case It was from RPS I believe, but I can't find it, Just wondering if someone could post up a link or something to it that be great.

I'm trying to figure out out how to get my 4wd to work. It worked a couple weeks ago and now it just won't turn on. I can hear something going on down there but its just not engaging. I tried disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it that didn't work I read something about the control module under the PS kick panel but I don't know what it looks like to mess with it now on to the T-Case. any help would be great.

It's probably the shift module or the auto hubs. I doubt its the t-case

Odds are good you have a vacuum leak and it will not allow your hubs to lock in. I had the same problem on my '99. I solved the issue by installing AVM manual hubs.

It is located behind the center cap on your front rims. They are really easy to replace with AVM manual hubs. I think mine cost $116 off ebay. There is even a how to thread on here that walks you thru the install.

Thanks for posting that up. 2 more Questions do you only have to do that to one side or both? and do you have to take out the Vac lines or do you just leave them in?

You install the new hubs on both sides. You can leave the lines in until you have the time to track them down. If you need anymore help just let me know.

I found a set on ebay for a pretty good deal. but before I pull the trigger on them I saw in a couple other threads that it would be a good idea to have easy access to them, well i have american racing baja wheels and the center cap doesn't pop off like the stock ones do would I have to cut a hole in the top part of the center caps cause I'm really ify on this. I'm already suffering from poor gas mileage (11mpg) and I can't afford to leave them locked all winter. oh the part number For the AVM Manual Hubs that I'm looking at is 15001.70 is that the right part number for what I need?

Thanks
Clay
