Light died in my guage cluster

After about the third light went out in my gauge cluster, I decided to replace the burnt out bulbs. It actually wasnt all that bad, just took awhile 'cause you have to take the radio bezel off too (didn't realize that until after I finally consulted my Chilton's manual).
Do yourself a favor though. Change ALL the bulbs back there, even the ones that are still working. You don't want to have to tear all that apart again in a few months just to change one more bulb.
Can't tell you about the gauges, I didn't want to mess with mine. The bulbs were enough.

I could probably just make my own. Doesnt seem hard at all. Thanks for the tips. If I wanted to change the green tint in the guages could I just use a translucent paint on the back of them? would that involve removing the needles? I dont want to go through the hassle of getting my tach and speedo all screwed up

Here is a pretty straight forward how to for removing the guages.

It is pretty easy just takes awhile. I found it tricky to get the bulbs out of the cluster. I felt like I was going to break something cause I had to turn them pretty hard to get then out. Good luck.
