if the alternator worked you would have a perpetual motion machine.

When Ford made electric vehicles, one of the options was a trailer that had a generator on it. You take it on long trips and you don;t have to stop and recharge.

Other people have push trailers- trailers that have an engine with wheels that turn. It pushes

napa and other parts stores would LOVE this idea. lol.

but w/ this whole energy crunch and alternative fuels, what do they expect to do about semis and the like? i cant see an electric powered semi, lol. and us guys that actually use our big v8 trucks to haul. we cant use electricity... this whole alternative fuel crap makes no sense at all, except for ethanol and biodiesel. at least for a truck, i understand an electric/hybrid car.
