i was going to order a 2007 level2 back in oct but my father ordered a 07 fx off road supercab 4 door with all the goodies back about the same time. he couldnt wait for it to be built so i waited untill he came in. now my fathers truck is mine and settled for a 4x4 sport that was on the lot. mine is a auto but i wanted a manual in the level2. oh well my truck is sweet. good power with the 4.0 but gas?? not to good yet with only 200 miles but hope it gets better with time. ill do some minor mods for now. good luck with your new ride.

when I ordered my LII it took only a month and I guarantee yours will be the same
unless you ordered the leather too your truck will not be as 'cool' as mine

WOW....

How's the sound with the Pioneer sub and all ? Any vibration at all ? Is it still very nice for a small sub like that ?... Also, the 2007 now comes with an input jack so you can plug a MP3.. :) Also, what are these switches for... and why is your sub kinda green/brown looking.. :)

I can't wait to receive it ehe!!!

Regards,
Pete B.

I have that center console and I used to love the sub. But I don't like it when they are really loud, I think it sounded good. The center console drives me crazy though because I got an after market radio and no one can figure out how to plug my sub into it. So I think that you'll like it, it sounds really good. :)

Can you turn the sub off or lower the bass if it comes too loud...

The switches control my KC Slimlites, Hella FF, bed cargo light, added back up lights, and one extra for future use
The color of the sub is either created by the camera or the foam ring
I had it out to install the switches and their accompaning mini wire harness
An FX4 LII with the console and factory leather represents less than %1 of all Rangers sold per year - nationwide that is a very small amount
hmmm, no switch to turn off the sub woofer unless you consider the bass control

I have not seen the center console in real yet.. I am not yet 100% sure if I will like it or not. Do you loose alot of space with the subwoofer ? They dealership did order 2 truck for me. One with the pioneer, the one without. So I will be able to choose. However, I did not select the leather... I just don't like it.. Cold during the winter.. hot during the summer.. But I have to admit that it looks nice...

well you don't loose any space with the sub woofer as it plus the accompaning AMP are located in the console
I am only 5'7" so it does not cramp me at all
the center arm rest is similar or the same as any other new Ranger with bucket seats
the console is the same width as the storage box below the arm rest
I do not experiance excess cold or heat from the leather and it is much more durable than fabric
the Honda I am buying tomorrow has factory leather and heated seats
I will never buy another car or truck with out leather

PS - I submarined this BRAND NEW TRUCK 4 months and 17 days after it was delivered to me
Leather has held up fine to that and off roading a few times a year

I have had a lot of tall people sit in my truck without any problems. It's no wider than the regular, just taller. I like it a little better because my cup holders are right there. The only real difference is you lose a cup holder and some other random small pockets, it's not such a big loss though.

Anyways,

I'll keep you all updated on when i'll receive it... From what I heard tho, the Ranger production is stopped until February 5th. Thats what someone told me at FORD when I called them. They said if im lucky and one is already done in their lot and is available I might get it sooner, but chances are that i'll have it around march/april.... :\.. At least, Winter will be almost done here..

One of the guys around here has/had a tremor, that came stock with that sound system, and from my limited exposure to it, it ROCKS! tho the head unit is kinda fat and ugly.

Yeah,

The dealership had a tremor... but you loose the back seats.. And my goal is not to have the biggest sound system.. It's just.. while im buying a new truck, why not buying it with a 'better sound system' which the Pioneer gives me... :)

But again, I have to wait 4-8 weeks before I get it hehe.. And from what I heard from Ford, they are not making any Ranger until February 5th.

Dude, if you want a level ll with that sound system, leather seats and a towing package I can give you the name of the dealership I just bought my '07 from. The only reason they have that truck is because it was going to be mine but they ordered the wrong color so I had to wait another 8 weeks for them to build me one that was the right color. They also have two other level ll's but they do not have leather. Your dealership can order the truck from the dealership here in Memphis and you would have the truck a lot sooner.

Thanks for the info, but waiting is kinda good for me.. Right now, it's full winter here in Canada... By waiting 4-8 weeks, im not putting the truck in all the salt they put in the roads... Also, i'll be more happy when they'll receive it ehehe!!! I just can't wait to get the pioneer system in that truck!!!!! =)

I'll keep you guys updated as soon I get it.. I'll post tons of pics also eheh!!!
