Well, with mixed emotions I must say that my time in Ranger club is winding down for the time being. I'll be back in a few years when I got my car paid off and I can get a newer Ranger. I'll stick be hanging around the forums every once in a while.
I bought a 2007 Mustang GT Premium 5 speed. 4.6L V8 (that somehow gets getter mileage than my 2.5L Ranger lol). Every option available in 2007, heated leather seats, 6 disc changer, all the bells and whistles I've never known. 47,000 miles, I am the 3rd owner.
Not crazy about the stripes, but I got everything else I wanted in my search. Bone stock except for the exhaust tips. Only mods I really have planned for her is a GT500 Shelby catback and suspension, which lowers it about 1.5"-2", eventually headers and cam work, and 18" Bullitt rims, probably the grey/aluminum looking finish, maybe do sequential taillights but not in a big rush for body mods.
Had my 1998 Ranger since 2007, first vehicle I ever drove, my dad bought it new in '97. His first new vehicle. Wish I could keep her around for a little while longer but the repairs exceed the value (even my own self-inflated value) of the truck.
Thanks for all the help provided and the couple of cool people I've met locally from here. Keep them Rangers runnin!
