Icon6 New ranger mods w/ pics (color matching)

So I decided to do some stuff to my truck.

First things first, i got my 08 sport grill painted black, looks a lot cleaner

Second off, i decided to take off all the bolts from my streetlock wheels and color match them vista blue.

I ordered a 12 oz can of G9 Vista blue and a 12 oz can of grey primer off of automotivetouchup.com.

I used a dremel tool to completely remove the top layer of metal from the bolts, then cleaned them and prepped them to paint.
I hit the bolts with 3 coats of the grey primer.

I then wet-sanded the primer with beer and 600 grit sandpaper.
This is after sanding.

Then I hit the bolts with 3 coats of the vista blue paint

Those bolts make a huge difference. Haha, the things we do to our trucks that we spend time on and no one will ever notice. I've done it countless times. Truck looks great!

Nice Scott!! I was always wanting to see an alternative to those colored rings.

I also have never heard of wet-sanding with beer. How is the beer different from water....(unless im being fooled, and you were drinking it)
