I've been in the Mustang scene for a while now and I came across a 1994 Ranger with a bad engine for $1000. it is a 2WD with a 5 speed with 160k miles, It has a clean interior, 8" lift, rims, tires, wide fenders, etc. Originally it had a 4 cyl engine but the last owner did the V6 swap. The first thing on my list is to get it running right. I have a ton of questions, hopefully you guys can answer all of them. I know how to use the search functions as I am not new to forums but since I know nothing of Rangers it's all kind of overwhelming. First off, what is involved in a typical 6 cyl engine swap? Is there a new tranny in there or could the V6 be joined to the original 5 speed? What size engine and what year can I throw in there, without major modification or fabrication. I also saw that some members have put in 302s in their rangers, I have an extra one that I'm building up for my mustang and the idea of having a 302 under the Ranger hood sounds awesome. Can anyone point
