New scan gauge, got a few q's

What all can you program throught the xgauge? I did the trans temp but i think it is off? It reads about 140 driving and my coolant temps around 184? Do these seem normal? I also tried the cylinder head temp and converter line pressure, the cly head temp doesnt show and the line pressure reads 27 all the time?

ya numbers sound good. head temp and line pressure dont work on rangers one thing to remember it can only read what the computer is reading.

HP works idk how accurate it is but i laugh watching it. um Fuel level % is another, very very sensitive that thing is to sloshing. um i dont remember others off hand. oh Closed loop or Open loop for the O2 sensors

Yea i didnt know if the ecu read them like it does the trans temp, i did notice about a hour or more after it was shut off the coolant temp was reading 125? I didnt think it would hold heat that long but im not sure, how long would it take to fully warm the trans? I only drove it maybe 10 miles it might not have been enough to raise it.

http://www.scangauge.com/support/pdfs/XGAUGE.pdf

here ya go you have to manually program them in the X-gauge. Very simple and easy to do

if you are confused on how to program your X-gauge feature use the owners manual here and it will walk you threw it :

Look under eNhanced data and ford pwm, anyone know what other xgauges can be put in? I seen on a few google searches people were using a engine oil temp one as well, also what are your guys trans temps driving and how long does it take to warm up? This morning it got in it was 53 and 12 miles later at work it was reading 141.

The HP gauge is apparently a generic gauge that uses other inputs to come up with a number. The gauges you can program in that are Ford-specific like trans temp and TQ are supposed to be accurate though.

Once you program it all in and press save, go back to your gauges and scroll through until you find what you named it, i had never used one before and it took me about 3 minutes to figure it out using the scan gauge websight. What good does the tq to the converter do? How would you use that as helpful info? Does the trans gear one work on rangers? Also i have used the hp on my 4.0 it says 235 when its to the floor, and the tps is wack it shows 19 at idle without even touching it and 98 when its on the floor.
