A new set of black projector light 01+

Well I was playing around on ebay and found a new pair of projector 1 piece headlights for the 01+ rangers. I think they look better than the other ones but I wouldn't put them on my truck.

I dont mind them.

But...I'm so sick of these GHEY GAWDY looking BS leds and rivets everywhere on these wheels, taillights, or headlights. It's quite stupid to me. I sure don't like the $220 shipped pricetag though. I could retro a set of REAL projos in stock housings for that.

There was a thread about these last week. Someone said they wouldn't work with out modification of cutting the header panel.

I don't think they look bad but without the little plastic piece like found on 01-03 rangers there will be that gap

I wonder how we would be able to HID both the lowbeam and highbeam with this setup? I might get these.

I'd rather have no headlights. Those look like 100% horrid.

Also... with this setup, it looks like the 3 plug harness is being split in the picture. The highbeam and lowbeam have the same ground wire, and obviously different hot wires.

In our trucks (stock) does the lowbeam filament stay on while the highbeams are on?

I'm trying to do my HID plans

Wow.... 6 ballasts in the ranger...

best way is to contact the seller.

@JP7 no only one filament burns at a time, when you pull back on the hi/lo you can get it to burn both but that is not recommended because of high heat build up

So... halos are rice... so what your saying is bmw is rice....

They aren't the only OEM that use them.

Read my sentence again, and this time in order. I called the rivets and "other BS" rice. I did not consider the halo's rice at all. But still I don't like them. My opinion, so they arent going on my truck. But if you like them, then I am all for you getting them.

Why don't we just end this and stop screwing up this thread. I don't like them, you do. Simple.

For the record, I thought the LED, what I assume are running lights, were rivets.

Phew... I don't like Rivets either. It looks like in the back the LED screw out. I can change the color then.

LED halos = rice, CCFL can be better.

If they just upped the price a bit and made the projectors but with a movable shield like OEM stuff and no need for separate low and high bulbs. I think these might be a good base for a retro, but they are definitely different. I cant wait to see what these look like installed and with HIDs.
