I have a 1998 Ford Ranger 3.0L 2wd and was going to put on new shocks. Just wanted to put a shout out to find what is a good brand of shock for this truck

 

Bilstein 4600's.

 

I run the bilsteins and love them. That said the price is not for faint of heart.

The rancho's are good, and cheaper, but not everyone likes them. I went with the bilsteins despite the cost because no one had anything bad to say.

 

I love the rancho's it's what they use on the FX4's so its a good choice. Also got them due to price. Might do Bilsteins next time.
