Yep, the title kinda explains itself. I went paintballing today and a guy that plays with us had a prerunneresque F-150. After I rode with him for a while I made the decision not to drop my Ranger and to turn it into a PreRunner type Ranger...sooooo chalk one up for the lifted crowd, I've turned to the dark side....

Haha...Thats why I posted here. I know alot about lowering but I haven't the faintest idea how to go about raising one. I'm very open to suggestions. Nothing very costly though, I'm only 17....

Well prerunners cost MONEY. Simple as that bud =\ These things can either give you the biggest thrill in your life, or kill ya if done incorrectly.

Yea, I know that the average PreRunner cost is somewhere around 150,000 or so. I guess what I'm shooting for is the attitude of a prerunner i.e. the body stylings, etc.

Yea I kinda figured his didn't cost that much. But I know it did cost quite a bit and it was a heck of a ride...So what do you guys think I should go with in terms of lifting?

Good choice in your vehicle direction, it's nice to see it beginning to catch on over there. What were the specs on the F-1? Travel numbers, suspension, caging?

If you want to build your truck right, you're going to spend money on it, period. Takes a lot of patience and a deep wallet, mine sure has costed me tons and it's nowhere near finished.

Ain't that the truth I have about 13000 into mine so far and I have a little over 10-12000 more to go before she is finished. Sure is damn fun though.

Yup, the whole fun in the project is being able to do it yourself with what you have earned yourself. Sure, it'd be cool buying an already built truck, but where's the fun in the build?
