New tires debating 265/70 or 265/75?

Looking to get a new set of Falken Wild Peak AT's in the near future for my 99 4X4. Am running the factory 16" wheels and am having a hard time choosing between a 265/75 or 265/70 tire size. Don't really want the tires to look stuffed, but don't know if the 265/75 would really look stuffed or not. I do know my 245/75's look too skinny so want a little wider tire, but don't want to hurt gas mileage much either......decisions, decisions...Stock suspension, t-bars are cranked some, but i dunno, what do you guys think? Here is a pic to get an idea of how the truck is currently sitting with the 245's. Have 4:10 gears, if going to a 265/75 how much will it throw off the speedo?

On my 2000, I put 265s on it and im pretty sure my speedo isn't off

Go the 265/75. Your speedo shouldnt b e off that much at all.

265/75. you'll regret it if you dont

265 is the width. width doesn't affect the speedometer

really? haha my bad. Well I have 265/75/16s on my truck

It's really only an 1" or less. 70 and 75 is the height ratio of the width. I have 75's and I like the look of the back but the front looks a little stuffed, I'd be happy if I sat a half inch higher but I don't wanna crank anymore.

Ya get the 75's. There an inch taller amd there should be enough room for them. I wish i went with them.

Thanks everyone, sounds pretty unanimous.

I just put a set of 75's on my 07 about a month ago, I love them, no prob with fitment, they look great.

75 profile usually brings a more rugged tire, stiffer sidewall, deeper tread etc.
You'll be much happier with the 265/75 than the 265/70 (effectively a car tire).
