Well I've saved my pennies and can finally get some projector headlamps for my truck. I've been looking over E-bay and seen various types and styles but a new one has come up and I'm curious about it.

The thing that has me scratching my head are the corner lamps. The '98-00 have integrated corner/turn signal housings. These are seperate corners lamps with no turn signal housing. I don't see how they can be installed. I've emailed the seller and I hope to get a prompt reply. If anyone else has seen these and has any information on them please post.

i thnk they are just taller so then the turn signal is not longer there but its filled in by the head light... or the guys full of **** and scamming people... i say wait a bit and then see what kind of feedback he gets...

 

Negatory, they are for 93-97. They are the same style, and I cant see them fitting the 98-00 style.

 

Looks like mislabled 01+ or 97- lights.. I'm interested to hear what he has to say... be sure to let us know! If they are a "conversion" for 98-00 that would be sweet!

ya you cant tell of the size of them to see if they are to take up the space of the L shaped corner light bottom, or if they are for a 93-97. But either way, they aren't gonna fit an 01'.

Who cares that it's ended!! I wanted an answer to my questions. Funny thing is they have a new auction up for it and I responded that they can respond to that one. No mater what I'm not going to buy from these guys.

 

They probably ended it because the years are wrong...Unless somebody got them.
But did they change the years on the newer one? Ahh!!! Ebay can get crazy sometimes.

Notice A) Corner/marker light is ONE piece, and B) the shape of the corner light, much diffirent, skinnier?

 

yea theyre obvously diffrent... the turn signal on 98-00 replaces that plastic strip that goes under the lights in 01+ and 93-97 grills are much smaller and it has that eyebrow above them...

 

Damn! Did you check out the shipping?! $60 for UPS ground? No thanks.

 

they charge much more then nessary for shipping so that they dont get as big of fees from ebay, but still get the amoun they wanted... that why you can buy euro tails for 20$ but have have spend $40 on $10 shipping....

 

He's exactly right. In my opinion thats dishonest, and I don't like to deal with dishonest people. It's an instant turn-off for me as a buyer.

 

Those are for 93-97. I have them on my truck.

 

Nope they have them listed as a '98-00 again. I'm going to get some projectors off of e-bay. I just need to find a good seller.

no way theyd fit... theyd have to be almost 2 inches taller to make up for the lack of the underlight turnsignal... obvously trying to screw people then theyll change the listing after they bid...

 

go ahead and buy them and then send them a picture showing how they are 3 inches too short then send them back.
