Ok let's see. First of all, Jeeps are uncomfortable. A good portion of them are extremely easy to damage and steal from (because of soft covers). Their value tends to stay very high, so buying an older jeep wrangler is more expensive than a Ford Ranger. Have you ever driven on one the ice? THEY ARE TERRIBLE! I've been in a jeep doing 360s down the highway because it lost control. Their very square wheelbase doesn't allow them to pull straight like a truck or car. Oh yah, they can be tippy too, like a ranger.

So pretty much, why should we be looking for an uncomfortable, dangerous during the winter months, and more expensive vehicle? I mean seriously, not all of us are trailriding 100% of the time are we? Most of us have a very comfortable economical vehicle that gets an okay gas mileage and has excellent road handling manners.

Rangers start at 15K MSRP. Jeeps start at 18K MSRP. You could do some nice mods with that extra 3k, couldn't you?

now i never said that a jeep was better than a ranger because ive always wanted a ranger and it is my most favorite truck in the world...all i wanted to put in worth .02cents was that i know they are durable...period. but more durable that a ranger...i have no idea..i know if i had a choice of the two i would definately go with what i have....Rangers are the best balance i believe....I love em!
