No Start.
could be a dead battery playing with your security and not letting you start it. check the battery, if it's good. you might have to tow it to the dealer so they can "unlock" it.
i remember someone else having issues w/ starting and the PATS system.

Update: had it towed to my apartment only have 3 miles per tow with AAA. it goes to work in the morning to get diagnosed and repaired. i honestly am clueless.
The battery is fine
Its your pats system bro. have gad this happen more times than I can count.
It engages when the ECU feels someone is attempting to electrically jump/steal your truck.
1st. disconnect battery negative first, then positive and turn on headlights if you can to drain what remains of the auxillary battery if you have one...not sure but always good idea.
2nd check all your major ground (i,e, the block, frame, battery, as many as you can)
3rd give it time. if you fiddle with it too much your ECU will fry itself like a secret message in a spy movie and will self destruct without the explosive part then you will have to flat bed it to FORD and have them reset ECU and give you new key totally somewhere around 280 smackers!

if you are a ford certified tech, you should know this. If you dont, why not ask other techs. just sayin
lol my main area of work is not in diagnostics.
I do
front end work brakes to complete front end replacements and rebuilds
rear end work same thing
all routine services
engine work
oil and filter changes along with tires etc
the dirty work

there, fixed it for you.
start basic like I said. go through the grounds. A faulty ground will set the PATS off super fast.
and to be purely honest (and I know my shwhit truck isnt the best example but) my PATS has a mind of its own. it locks anything and everything whenever whereever

I went to crank it tonight and it turned over twice with no fire. I was like? Strange! And then the anti-theft light started flashing and a noise to go along with the flash in the dash is coming from Fuse Kick panel on the Passanger floor side. I'll check all the grounds and stuff tomorrow. I Reset with the battery disconnect and it will try to fire one time and go back to a lose of everything and the flashing light. Never new the Anti-Theft light did anything for reals. Huh!? Hope I find it and it dont need unlocked. Oh i just tried other key. Same thing.
