Surfing around I found this... I repeat, the site states that Car and Driver Brazil published this and it is supposedly to be the New Ranger.. Kinda looks ok...
Basically, it says that Car and Driver Brazil published this new pic of the New Global Ford Ranger...
Here's the link in case any of you wants to read some more:

EDIT: My original post stated that Ford Brazil had published this photo, when it is in fact a car magazine "Car and Driver Brazil" the one who published this photo of the upcoming Ranger. I apologize for this misspell

my ranger cost me just over $20,000 brand new, to get an F150 with my options i have on my truck, will probably be in the low 30's, even 2wd. there is a BIG gap between mid-size ford and full size Ford in Canada.

Lol looks like a Ford Edge front end with 4 doors and a truck bed.
That's an old prototype image anyway. Here is the current mule.

A few have been spotted in LA. As in Los Angeles. Isn't it a little weird to test a non-North American Ford Ranger in LA? Why bring it to the US for testing if it is being built in Australia?
I'm not sure about this. I think we may be getting a new 4-door "Ranger". It may not be called a Ranger and as far as I have seen all have been Mazdas.
Maybe Ford is backing out of the the compact/mid-size pick-up market but Mazda hasn't released anything saying they are also. Maybe that are branching off and making their own pick-ups?

That picture shows that it is an under-axle leaf sprung with the white "truck", makes it super easy to lift it a few inches in the rear without too much of a heavy modification - the issue lies in the front end, as posted boave.. it looks way to frickin girly, whatever happened to a ncie bold front end on these things? A mini straight black F350 front end would look **** up on a ranger

If this new truck is going to be sold everywhere *except* here, wouldn't it make sense to also kill off the current F150 model and take the new truck global (they could still call it the F150 for marketing purposes)? A 10% reduction in size isn't going to be noticed by, or make a difference to, most, and those that truly need the size would probably be considering a F250 anyway. It might even help sell a few more models to those that otherwise consider the current F150 too large.
But what do I know, I just work for a living...

The big thing is - have any o fyou seen hwo damn unsafe those other Rangers are? They snap like -twigs- in an accident, thats the main reason they cant be brought out this way.. safety ratings on them are absolutely horrible.
I would much rather try putting the engine into ours, a small diesel would be rather awesome!

The current Ford trucks look super beefy, as we all know. If a Ranger came to the US it would either be grouped with the SUVs and look like an Edge or a new Explorer. Or it be like a mini-F150 and look BA.

That new ranger looks like a POS. I wouldn't be caught dead in one of those (well, I guess I could be murdered and thrown in the back, but that's the only way). Luckily I have an 06' Ranger, so not that old, but I was looking forward to upgrading to an extended cab 4x4 ranger.
Next thing...canceling production of manual transmission. No, I don't think they'd actually do it, but if they did, I'd kick the Ford company in the face.

Personally if they think i would even compare the 2 vehicles a Ranger and Fiesta, they must think I am retarded. I would never think Hmmm.. well... the Fiesta and Ranger are the same thing, I'll choose a Fiesta for fuel milage. WTF?! Thats the stupidest thing I think I have heard today lol. Can I bring home a couch or sheets of plywood in a Fiesta, no? Didn't think so. Such a stupid comparison. Makes absolutely NO SENSE!
If they stop making it, I think they are making a mistake but oh well, Tacoma, or Colorado are itty bitty trucks too. Dakota is a bit bigger.
I chose the Ranger, not cause it was like a fiesta, but because it is a smaller F150. I wanted the utility of a truck in the smaller size of a Ranger. I DID NOT WANT a big honkin F150. I wanted a smaller pickup. The Ranger was a perfect fit for me.
