Possible steal of a Ranger?

Like many of us I like to see which Rangers are going for what. On ebay I found this 2004 FX4 LVII for a buy it now price of less than 4,000. Bad news is its salvaged but it doesn't appear that damaged and the mileage is 211,683 miles. (the guy hit a deer) If any1 lives near West Alton, MO this might be a possible steal. What do you guys think?

link isn't cumming up right on here when I copy and paste and establish the thread so search ebay with "2004 Ford Ranger Leather Int."

or COPY THIS LINK AND PASTE THEN DELETE THE SPACES THEN ENTER.

I know for some reason when I established the thread it dislocates the link for some reason so I established other ways you can get to the listing.

@nicky919
Lots of miles yes but the vehicle itself for the price is kinda hard to beat, especially FX4 LVII

@01RangerEdge
Glad to find that somebody on here has a possibility of getting it, would be interesting to see, although i don't know if you would want to part it out. I believe all it needs is a radiator and some minor work done to it and you have a perfectly good ranger, maybe drop a cummins in it.? after all it is one of the few FX4 LVII's out there. possible profit? If you buy it you have to post it here on forums.

I'd like to buy it.

I probably won't due to the fact that I have 1 more year of college left and I'm knee deep in my 1977 F250 that needs to be finished.

If I bought it, fixing it and re-selling it won't turn much of a profit due to the fact that it has a salvage title.

I wouldn't want to keep it since I already have 3 trucks.

Too many miles and salvaged title, I'd stay away unless I'm looking for parts.

I'd buy it for 2k but not a cent more. And run it into the ground. Then SAS it when the engine blows.

The engine sounds great with no smoke, leaks or rattles.
I find that part hard to believe or maybe its only my 4.0 that rattles like crazy lol

I'd like to have it and drop a v8 in it. Nice looking truck and the repairs seem like they would be easy... wonder why they would total it?

The busted header panel would be my guess. Seems odd tho for so little damage.

damage has nothing to do with it...it all has to do with how expensive it will be to get it fixed...most insurance companies will total a vehicle when its at 80% of its value...there also might be hidden damage you cant see...im a body tech so i know some of this insurance junk haha

+100!

I'm 99% sure there is a sticky on this. Do a search and it should be easy to find.
