Painting Poll

So This weekend Operation Edge is going down. I'm gonna be a edge fx4 haha..

Anyways, The flares and front valance are for sure getting painted to color match... Question is..

Should I paint the rear bumper valance also color match? (the step part, plastic)

Here's my truck...

Poll still not up?

If I could ask someone to PS all the pics with color match in all of them leaving the chrome alone that would help my decision a lot! (For trent, possibly the light bar...)

are u painting the texture flares and bumper or did you get edge flares and bumper that is smooth?

I say leave the bumper black, the plastic being painted on the rear bumper would look a little to overdone you do need some contrast in there to split up all the grey.

I'm having the flares done at a shop. My buddy, Austin, works at a auto body place and they have special primers for plastic and to get them smooth like I want them.

The rear plastic piece is gray right now... I'm either thinkin a flat black or somethin, or silver to match the truck... It's got some bad white marks on it from the guy who had it before me on the corner of the plastic... Hard to explain... I'm not sure what to do with it though.

Paint front valence, front bumper, flares, and rear bumper white. IMO I'd leave the plastic gray, it would look a little weird painted white and probably get scratched up and expose the gray again.

Might as well go ahead and paint it so you don't have just on gray plastic piece.

First hand...plastic is a PITA once it's painted. Did you buy new flares? The bumps in the old ones are hard to get smooth

The bumps are easily taken off. I did this prior to painting the bedliner.....i painted the flares previously and had chips...tried to get rid of the chips. sanded it smooth. lol.
