It's another damn government mandate because stupid people don't check their air pressures on a monthly basis on their explorers with firestones, then the tire explodes and the explorer is left ablaze and blames the vehicle manufacturer for deaths. Another attempt of govn't making it harder and harder to modify a vehicle as well in my eyes...this is only the start IMO...

This is sorta a biased view as Oregon is trying to block any and all sales of aftermarket ANYTHING for ANY motor vehicle....including tires. Yes people...that includes tires that are SAFER and last longer than stock crappy *** Continentals or Goodyear RT/S's... Talk about idiocracy.

And yes...I think I'm combining two or three truths into a fable? idk...or am I? hmm..

/end rant that came from no where.

If you keep the stock wheels and tires, just leave the TPMS on the stockers and park next to them every night. Would keep the light off most of the day.

Funny you say that 'cause mine are in my garage and when I've parked in the garage w/ them or near the garage it takes 1 hr - 48 hrs for the sensor to realize the tires are gone... lol... IMO... 1 hr on a flat tire is WAY too long so sensor is useless!! haah
