Which one should I take the front axle out of?
I'm probably thinking to much on this, and I know I'm already taking a chance when buying something used, but I wanted to know what you guys thought would be the better one to take it out of. They both have 4.10 gears also, everytime I go back there they are in a different spot so not sure if this plays into anything.
First is an 03 with 83,000 miles on it, no front end damage:

The other is an 01 with 81,000 miles on it, it has some front end damage:

Thanks,
Clay

Heres what I need it for if you're unsure of the part.

You can also use an explorer front axle too... I'm running a sport trac axle in the front of mine. Might be able to get less miles too....never know.
DWB is rare on '03's too. I want those gauges!!

I thought of your truck when I saw this. I'm gonna get a price on those gauges and probably take them out, somebody is already interested in them but if he ends up not getting it, you can be 2nd in line if you want.

I'll be back there tomorrow, so i'll take some more pictures of it. What do your seats look like now cause i can tell you right now if they're like yours.
do they by chance have another late model e250 with a steering shaft? im looking for one too. also, i dont know how much it would cost to ship, but i have a front axle with 4.10 that im selling for cheap. it has 40,000 miles on it. the only thing it needs is new seals.

Oh, I took some pictures of the steering shafts out of the E250, the green one in the background was a 150, they only had one 250, out of the like 5 econolines that they had. Pics are uploading as we speak.
