Basically its just a forklift motor run through a manual tranny.
Its been done before this guy just refined it and put it in a newer vehicle.

Actually, most of our electricity comes from power plants. Hoover Dam is only used when more electricity is needed, at peak points they use it more.
And why not strap in a small gas generator and keep it plugged it. Those generators burn like a gallon of gas an hour. Then you can go for a hell of alot longer and a hell of alot cheaper. Like a Fremont Street hooker...

Have you seen the kits to do this... Ranger conversion kits they actually sell Pre made electric rangers they are $38,000 though Trucks FYI

You can put up a personal wind generator for a reasonable price now. Can power whole house and sell excess to the power company.

Exactly why I don't like the alternative fuel for vehicles. Sure it's renewable, but it's not fun and you can't do power upgrades.

How bout something wild and crazy like an alternator?...
I know it wouldn't help too much but it seems like it would help more than a.... bump generator...
I'm assuming that there was one on there but my tired eyes didn't spy one...
