Part Number for Tailgate Pivot Part
I don't know what it's called, but a rubber bushing or such no longer exists at one tailgate pivot point on my 1996 Ranger XLT. As a result I can hear the tailgate rattle when I drive and that pivot or hinge allows the tailgate to be too easily disengaged from the truck's bed when I lower it. Can anyone tell me what this piece is called and provide the part number so I can order a new one either online or from my Ford dealer? Thanks in advance for your help.

If you go to your local ford dealer, all you have to do is describe it like you did here and they'll show you a diagram of the area so you can point to the correct piece. I'm not sure what that piece is called, but I know what you're talking about. Good luck.
PS, Junk yard. That is all. lol |

There are Ford parts houses that sell obsolete parts, when available, I will post the Addie's later.
